Since 2015, Norske Skog Golbey has reduced its CO2 emissions by 5% – scopes 1-2-3 (CEPI methodoly), thanks to investments in the renewable energies (biogas production units, biomass boiler) and the optimization of our logistics mix and the use of the rail.
These results confirm our commitment to the environment. We are committed to following this approach in the coming years and intensifying further our efforts to minimize our impact on the environment.
For the future, we have invested in our wastewater treatment plant and in renewable energies (biogas production units and biomass boiler) to make our production processes ever more eco-friendly.
Our goal is to join the Norske Skog Group’s “Fit for 55” program, which aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 55% by 2030 (scopes 1 and 2, CEPI methodology).
