An ambitious industriel project and a collective Journey
We carried out this project by drawing on 30 years of industrial history, internal expertise, adaptability, and resilience. The journey was anything but straightforward! It came with technical challenges, countless adjustments 😥, and periods of uncertainty. But we never gave up. We overcame obstacles because we strongly believe in this project, which will build a solid, sustainable, and value-creating industrial future for all of us!

A line built to last and inspire
We made the choice to fully transform one of our two production lines rather than build a brand-new one. A technical, economic, and environmental decision. Just imagine: it was like trying to fit a size 44 foot into a size 39 shoe!
Our ambition was clear:
- 🚀 Commission one of the most efficient corrugated paper production lines in Western Europe,
- 💡 Promote a more responsible industry,
- 🤝 Build a strong ecosystem of committed partners: local subcontractors, public funders, local authorities, and industrial players from the region.
A regional project driven by men and women
Behind this brand-new line are years of hard work, collective intelligence, and constant adaptation. We’ve drawn on both local and international expertise—on employees who are experts in their fields and partners who share our vision: a purposeful industry, deeply rooted in its region, and focused on the future.
This line also represents a promise: new economic opportunities, new direct and indirect jobs, and a renewed momentum for our site. It marks the beginning of a new era for Golbey, and sends a strong message for French industry as a whole.

This inauguration is not the finish line—it’s just a milestone. New challenges lie ahead!

The BOX project embodies our mindset: thinking long-term, drawing on our history to shape our future, and daring to pursue meaningful, ambitious goals.
