BOX project: work continues!

For over 2 years, we have been working on our Golbey industrial site to diversify into the packaging market. To this end, we are investing over 300 million Euros to convert our paper machine #1 (PM1), our pulp production line and our upstream and downstream storage areas. Our goal is to produce over 550,000 tonnes of containerboard per year!

We’re in the home stretch of our BOX project!

đŸ”čOur “sanitary” and “check-in” buildings are up and running

đŸ”čOur production is now composed by 100% recycled fibers

đŸ”čOur containerboard reel warehouse and loading bays are ready for commissioning.

đŸ”čOur colleagues are trained to drive and maintain our new facilities!

đŸ”čDrum pulper building: the drum and the facilities are in place. The piping work is almost complete and cabling work is in progress.

đŸ”čPM1: the lighting of the drying section is operational. Cabling, connection and piping work is accelerating.

đŸ”čWinder: the 1st commissioning phase has been completed.

đŸ”čWastewater treatment plant: commissioning should start next month!

At the same time, we continue to produce newsprint on our second paper machine (PM2), which has a production capacity of 330,000 tonnes per year.
