How does Norske Skog Golbey support culture?

In line with our values, we promote local initiatives in Epinal, Golbey and the surrounding area by providing financial support for cultural activities that encourage all audiences to enjoy reading.

We have supported Les Imaginales and Fête des Images festivals for over 20 years. In 2023, the two festivals merged to create a major event. Over four days, the city of Epinal invites the public to think and ask questions about a defined theme through debates, panel discussions, meetings, exhibitions and projection mapping.

Les Imaginales Festival

Founded in 2002, Les Imaginales festival is one of the leading international shows for fantasy literature. Free and open to all, it is held every year at the end of May in Épinal.

For four days, almost 200 guests from all over the world (France, Europe, the United States…), artists and authors of fantasy, science fiction, historical novels, fairy tales and legends, share their passion for these literary genres with an ever-growing audience.

In 2022, over 45,000 visitors came to discover these imaginary worlds, through exhibitions, conference sessions, literary cafés and events, in a shady park bordered by the meanders of the Moselle river.

La Fête des Images

The Fête des Images has become a key event in the visual arts and projection mapping scene. It now has a new schedule, no longer taking place in mid-September at the same time as the European Heritage Days, but on the same weekend as Les Imaginales festival. Epinal thus offers two complementary events, one during the day and the other in the evening.

We encourage you to come and discover the very high-quality projections and artistic performances, and to spend a moment outside time discovering images in all their forms and the heritage of the city of Epinal from a different angle.

To promote access to culture, we offer our employees tickets for the shows organised as part of these two events. We also see cultural sponsorship as a way of recognising and thanking our employees.
